Internships & Global Leadership Development in India

Withdrawl and Refund Schedule

A student in good academic standing who is not subject to discipline may be permitted to withdraw at any time. Withdrawal is defined as the dropping of one’s entire program in a given term as opposed to dropping a portion of one’s program.

Any student must notify the Director of Internships and Studies in Bangalore in writing; failure to attend classes or notification of instructors does not constitute formal withdrawal.
Any adjustment of paid tuition is calculated from the date on which the Director of Internships and Studies in Bangalore receives the student’s written notification (see Refund Schedule below). Only a percentage of the tuition will be refunded.

Refund Policy

IndiaInternships.com guarantees space in the program for the participant upon receipt of the $400 confirmation deposit. At this point, IndiaInternships.com incurs certain non-recoverable costs. The application fee is non-refundable, as are any non-recoverable fees incurred on behalf of the student. Students may also be held responsible for the cancellation/refund policy of the host company or institution.

Therefore, any participant who cancels at any time after the confirmation deposit has been received will be responsible for the program initial confirmation deposit in addition to the following, upon cancellation from the program:

Cancellation Period

Penalty

60 days or more before start of program Application fee + $400 confirmation deposit
45–59 days before start of program $900 (includes $400 deposit)
30–44 days before start of program $1250 (includes $400 deposit)
15–29 days before start of program $1500 (includes $400 deposit)
14 days or less before start of program Full program fee

These penalties are the minimum amounts due. Participants will be held financially liable for all non-recoverable costs that exceed these amounts. Policies of the company sponsor or ICMIS, that require greater financial obligations supercede this policy.

Participants who defer to another term rather than cancel from a program within 60 days of the start of the program will remain responsible for the cancellation penalty based on the deferred date.
